Old Mother Ludlam, the Wytch of Frensham, was faced with a dilemma when the Devil sneaked into her brewery and stole her precious cauldron. Determined to reclaim what was rightfully hers, she embarked on a daring mission to retrieve her brewing pot.

Through her cunning and magical prowess, she managed to outwit the Devil and snatch back her beloved cauldron. Knowing the Devil would not rest until he found it again, Mother Ludlam sought a safe place to hide it, the Frensham Church, where it rests today. 

We now brew Mother Ludlam’s favourite mead, in honour of her fortitude and skill in winning her cauldron back. Fermented with dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries and honey, this mead is only for the stout of heart.  Beware the Wytch’s Brew!
